It takes a lot for Western Carolina Rescue Ministries to serve the poor and hurting 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We cannot do it alone. We depend on people like you, who are willing to commit time, talent and treasure to seeing the love of Jesus restore broken lives scattered throughout our community.
Western Carolina Rescue Ministries operates on a very simple, but powerful idea: to help people in need. Our work with the poor, the homeless and the addicted takes many forms and fits broadly into three initiatives: Rescue, Recovery and Restoration. In each of these our goal to embody the love and compassion of Jesus Christ.
Emergency resources of food, shelter and clothing for men, women and children in crisis.
A 12 month, residential program for men overcoming drug and alcohol addiction.
Life skills and job training aimed at equipping the poor to move from a place of poverty to a life of productivity.
We believe that God loves everybody regardless of their background or circumstance. No matter what you’re facing, God has better plans for you. And we want to help you get there. We are here for you.
